Obituary

Obituary for Mazie Dale Sandison

Mazie D. (Connolly) Sandison, 98, of Willowick, passed away peacefully at home December 10, 2020, surrounded by her loving family.

Born July 28, 1922 in Savannah, Georgia, she lived in Willowick the past 64 years.

Prior to marriage and moving to the Cleveland area in 1947, Mazie worked for The Medical Depot during WWII and The Savannah Gas Company.

Mazie was a homemaker and devoted to caring for her family. She was a member of Shoregate United Methodist Church.

Survivors include her children, Linda (Thomas) Talcott, Kathy (Neil) Iverson, and Donald (Carol) Sandison.

She leaves behind many nieces and nephews and their families.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 37 years, Douglas B. Sandison in 1984; siblings, Alice “Snookie” Davenport, James Connolly, and Harry Connolly Sr. Her parents, Thomas and Alice (Meitzler) Connolly are also deceased.

Private services will be held on Monday, December 14, 2020.

Final resting place will be in Knollwood Cemetery, Mayfield Heights.
