Obituary

Private family services will be held for Barbara E. Haag, 88, of Mentor.

Mrs. Haag passed away peacefully on Monday, August 3, 2020 at Heartland of Mentor.

Born January 23, 1932 in Cleveland, TN, she moved to Cleveland, OH in her third-grade year and has lived in Mentor for past 57 years.

She was a Life-Master Bridge player and former member of Chagrin Lagoons Yacht Club.

Mrs. Haag was employed as a Registered Nurse at the former Mount Sinai Hospital in Cleveland, where she also graduated from their nursing school. She later became a psychiatric nurse, working at local hospitals, and finished her career working at Heartland of Mentor.

Survivors are her sons, Keith (Tery) Haag of Sheppard, TX, Robert (Michelle) Haag of Mentor and Howard (Lori) Haag of Painesville Township; grandchildren, Kira, Mattie, Emma, Josh, Derrick and Kristopher Haag and their families. She also leaves her shack, John May.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 29 years, E. Ken Haag and her mother, Mattie.
