Services for Angelo A. Argenti, Jr., 78, of Leroy Township, will be at 7 PM on Thursday, December 31, 2020 at Davis-Babcock Funeral Home, 4154 Clark Avenue, Willoughby. The Rev. Kevin M. Liebhardt of St. Justin Martyr Catholic Church will officiate at the service.
The family will receive friends from 4-7 PM on Thursday, prior to the service at the funeral home.
Due to Covid-19, social distancing and the use of a mask will be required when attending the visitation and service.
Mr. Argenti passed away Monday, December 28, 2020.
Born September 2, 1942 in Brownsville, PA, he has lived in Northeast Ohio for more than 50 years.
He was a United States Army veteran and enjoyed working outdoors around his home. He also formerly enjoyed golfing and bowling. He was an avid Pittsburgh Pirates and Steelers fan.
Mr. Argenti was employed as a machinist by trade, and worked for many years for the former TRW Corporation and most recently for the former Linderme Tube Company in Euclid. He also enjoyed providing transportation for autistic children for many years after his retirement.
Survivors are his children, Tammy Argenti and Angelo (Lynn) Argenti, III; granddaughters, Melissa (Frank) Gant, Danielle Thompson, Elizabeth (Frank) Bilaver, Caitlin Argenti and Cecilia Argenti; siblings, Raymond Argenti, Anthony (Robin) Argenti, Rosemary (Tom) Eldridge and Marty Argenti. He also leaves many nieces and nephews and their families and his feline companion, Harley.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Angelo A. Sr. and Mildred (Luketic) Argenti.
Private family burial will be at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery.
